Llanrhystud
I often read articles worrying whether children and young adults are still interested in birding and who will replace us when we're pushing up the daisies. Organisations such as the RSPB employ all sorts of wonderful strategies to engage the next generation but this morning I found that hard cash worked best. Paying out tuppence per species to Tomos, aged 8, I've rarely seen him look so enthusiastic about a mornings birding and I ended up 56p light. At least 280 Mediterranean Gulls present and 7 Black-tailed Godwits flew past. Yet another set of Star Wars lego heading to Llangybi soon.
