I am visiting Aberporth and area for the week and a keen birder. I thought that you may be interested to know of the following sightings;
SUN 18 AUG
Penbryn Beach
- 1 common buzzard - hunting over the headland (5.30pm - 6.30pm) until...
- 1 (pale) Peregrine Falcon buzzed the Common Buzzard frequently until it left the area.
MON 19 Aug
Cardigan Bay/Cardigan Island Farm Park
- 2 Common Buzzards
- 7 Common Scoter (flying South past Island)
- 8 Barnacle Geese
- 150 + Canada Geese
- 1 (large/dark) Peregrine Falcon
- 1 Whitethroat
- Stonechat family (1 ad female and 4 juvenile)s.
- 8 Grey Seals
First time in area - love the coast line & views.......
