Warm walk to Glandwr

A very warm walk down to Glandwr this afternoon was rewarded with the Wood Sandpiper, three BlT Godwits, a flock of Dunlin, an Oystercatcher a Heron and very pleasing to see - a pair of Moorhen with four chicks. From behind me - a 'Leri Fisherman' had a job becoming airborne after taking its fill of small fry coming up the river on the rising tide.

As commented by Jeremy - it would be good if there was a hide at Glandwr.
