Wryneck at Llanon this afternoon

As I was getting back into my car to leave Llanon at 12:50 this afternoon I noticed a bird land on the ground no more than 15 meters away.  I looked at it through my binocular and was amazed to see a Wryneck looking back at me.  It only stayed for a few seconds, then flew of heading south.  I had a guest with me and although the two of us spent about 30 minutes trying to re-locate it, we couldn't find it again.
Later, at about 3:00 we spent about 15 minutes watching a juvenile Little Gull just off shore amongst a mixed flock of Med and Black-headed Gulls at Llanrhystud.
