Not so many waders this morning; around 150 Ringed Plovers and 300 Dunlin and 3 Sanderling. Met up with Arfon and we went to the sea-ward side by the mouth of the estuary and he immediately spotted a rampant Arctic Skua. It chased terns and gulls and got closer and closer until it was low over the breaking waves.
Several Sandwich Terns were out there plus 104 on the beach near the car park.
Later, I noticed 3 Whimbrel just upstream of the Leri.
