Great Tits and Blue Tits in Action and Age

Yesterday afternoon I had a session of trying to capture some of the action around the garden peanut feeder. A real frenzy of squabbling between the Blue Tits and Great Tits. Managed to get a few passable photos as shown - however what was of particular interest was the observation of a colour ringed Great Tit. This bird was rung in 2010 as part of the Aberystwyth University  - IBERS research Programme on the effect of urban noise on bird song.
