My bird identification skills are frequently found to be lacking, but dead sheep? Surely not? For the record, the key features were; it had 4 legs and it was woolly, which seemed to rule out Grey Seal. Was it dead? Well, it was wasn't moving very much, and from this I concluded that it had snuffed it. It had ceased to be. etc etc. Happy birding!
