This rook has figured out that MacDonalds is a source of food. It flew on to my side mirror of its own accord. I threw out a chip and it caught it! If all the local rooks learn this, then it will be like Hitchcock's birds. There were three other rooks there and two jackdaws.
I have seen them foraging in bins on motorway service stations. The crows are of course one of the most intelligent of birds.
Forgive the quality of the picture. Taken with my iphone and it was spotting to rain. Had I opened the window, it would have had my burger.
