spotted crake

The spotted crake is still present at RSPB Ynys-hir. A quick stroll to the small pool this afternoon and within a minute the crake was visible feeding on the edge. I watched it for five minutes or so before getting back to work. As I was there a yellow wagtail flew over and the marsh harrier that has been here for a few days now was hunting over the salt marsh.
