The tip of the iceberg

Couldn't get to Llannon until after 9am but there was plenty going on. The light SE breeze was enabling me to watch some very visible migration for an hour or so. Approx 250 Chaffinches south in that time and no doubt a whole lot more had already been through. Also in the mix; Redwings, Starlings, Meadow Pipits, Pied Wagtails and a Common Snipe which plummeted from the sky and went to ground in a beet field. In the fields about 100 each of Skylark and Linnet plus Reed Bunting and Stonechat. At sea a few Med. Gulls and Red-throated Divers. I imagine it might be worth searching for the Lapland Buntings seen the other day as there seemed to be a lot about that I was having difficulty with.
