Long tailed ducks
A crazy couple of hours weather wise on Tan y Bwlch beach late afternoon well and truly blew away the cobwebs. A sea watch from the car produced two Long tailed ducks battling their way south, 10 Common Scoter, 15+ Gannet and 4 Kittiwakes. 5 Goosanders were on the Leri while 20+ Turnstone, 15 Ringed Plover and 30+ each of Oystercatcher and Curlew were sheltering from the wind. An adult Med Gull, 30+ Common Gull and 50+ Black headed Gulls flew north over the harbour as the light faded.
