Sightings from this weekend's visit to storm damaged Aberystwyth.
As I was travelling towards Cross Inn from the direction of Talsarn on Thursday 9th January, a male Hen Harrier flew across the road in front of the car. A short while later for a good half hourI watched an adult Kittiwake feeding very near the shore on the North side of Aber's pier.
On the morning of Friday 10th, a Red Throated Diver flew South very close to the rocks off Castle Point.
There was a female Goosander on the harbour side of Trefechan bridge this morning, Saturday 11th, and the male Black Redstart was on the Old College.
