Corvid for lunch

Whilst walking in the hills near Bontgoch this afternoon, I was surprised to see a Goshawk drop down some twenty yards in front of me. As I cautiously approached for a better view I realized it was feeding on something. Needless to say it also saw me and departed into a nearby tree  leaving its lunch behind. Close inspection showed that it had been dining on a nice fat Rook!
