On the road again
With leg connected back to hip roughly as God intended and pain killers gulped down it was a joy this morning to go out birding once again. The forestry blocks way above Llanddewi Brefi were surprisingly active, with lots of common birds still around, presumably due to the mild weather. I saw several small flocks of Bullfinches feeding on young conifer buds as well as a fair number of Meadow Pipits and Reed Buntings. 6 Crossbills included a singing male. Other interesting birds included Woodcock, Stonechat and Sparrowhawk.
