A lovely piece from Lis Collison:
Today a smart male and his lady came slowly down stream and he patiently waited
while she went up the Melindwr prospecting for a nesting sight. How romantic on
Mothers Day!
The Ravens have also paired and she is busy adding soft furnishings
in the form of left over sheep wool! However by this evening there was serious
branch breaking going on so maybe they've gone back to the drawing
board!
(One of my all time favourite birds. Lis, I am sure you would like "Mind of the Raven" by Bernd Heinrich. A great book about Ravens.)
