Newquay to Aberaeron

A walk along the coast path from Bird Rock (Newquay) to Aberaeron gave us around 37 bird species today. Highlights included peregrine, kestrel, red kite, chough, raven, willow warbler, blackcap, chiff chaff, gannet, razorbill, fulmar, swallow, house martin,  stonechat, linnet and long-tailed tit. Several small tortoiseshell and peacock butterflies too, and an early bluebell in flower near Bird Rock.
