Too little too late and better late than never at Cors Caron

Walked up river from Pont Einon in the hope that the dry weather might have exposed some mud for a wader or two but in fact the water levels were still very high and the fields very wet. A Little Grebe was present and a mixed flock of about 150 finches/pipits. At Maes Llyn pool, 4 Tufted Ducks. Both Marsh and Willow Tits were in a roving flock in the woodland at the entrance to the boardwalk. I counted 4 Chiffchaffs calling/singing so presumably quite a few still about on or around the reserve. Best of all a late Hobby was in among a handful of hirundines. Thank you to Andre for sorting out the bird report. I see it will be available from the usual outlets. Can you remind me what they are please? Can we get it direct from you Andre? I also see that the previous note on the blog says the report is for the year 2104. Sounds exciting. Just a reminder too that I will be leading a walk on Sunday in Aberaeron and then on to Llanerchaeron before lunch. It looks like the weather might hold til then so hopefully a nice stroll even if not too much is about.
