I did this over two days, yesterday & the day before. Not very high numbers - stuff is probably already heading off to breeding grounds, but a few signs of Spring. 4 returned curlew and 24 lapwing on the main nesting area for waders were a welcome sign. Two little egrets around, but not sporting any plumes, so probably non breeders as is usual for the site. Lots of activity in the heronry too. 5 goosanders, a water rail and a dipper on the Fflur were the highlights.
