Following the male Common Scoter on the river in Newcastle Emlyn, a female was on the river within the Teifi Marshes reserve late yesterday and still present this morning.

One drake Goosander nearby at Priory Bridge. Otherwise, singing Warblers the highlight on a circuit around the reed-bed. 6 Cettis, 26 Chiffchaff and 8 Willow Warblers....all singing in the breeze.
Four Common Scoter still off-shore in the mouth of the estuary, and two Wheatears on the greens of the Cliff Hotel.
