Cross Inn cuckoos

Highlights during a visit to Cross Inn forest this morning were 3 cuckoos flying together, plus very close views of redpoll. Other sightings included redstart, stonechat, and lots of willow warblers and chiffchaff.
I completely failed to see the shrike - as always- despite very good directions from Andy James who had been watching it only a few minutes before. Could the next person to find it please just glue it to a branch and attach a flashing light? Thank you.  ALINE
