Mostly waders

Four Purple Sandpipers by the wooden jetty at the harbour this morning, and 10 Turnstones at Castle Point. Offshore just a few Manx Shearwaters and single Gannet and Sandwich Tern.  A Goosander flew past close in.
Between Borth and Ynyslas turn a party of ca15 Whimbrel flew across the road.  Arrived at Ynyslas to find Russell looking through Dunlin and Ringed Plovers before he had to go to work.  Nothing with them, though there were three more Whimbrel at the Leri mouth.
I continued to Glandwr, finding four Redshank on the pool, three Bar-tailed Godwits, two Common Sandpipers, a Dunlin and an Oystercatcher on the Leri, and on the way back, another nine Whimbrel on the first field along the track to Glandwr, where there were also five Wheatears.
Finished off up Cwm Clettwr, where I had a Dipper and then enjoyed my first Wood Warbler of the year.
