Sightings from Helen Herbert

Thursday morning was quiet at Castle Point bar a seal.
A pair of House Martins (my 1st of the year) checked out a long used nest site in Rheidol Terrace.
Later in the day a pair of Goosanders rested on the stony bank of the river Rheidol opposite the police station, and the Canada Goose was keeping a close eye on the female Swan on the nest, whilst the cob was in the harbour.

Friday morning there were 6 Whimbrels, 7 Ringed Plovers, and 3 Purple Sandpipers on the rocks at Castle Point, and these were briefly joined by a Wheatear.
