TRISANT REDSTART

Early this morning it was cold and misty. Opening the kitchen door I could hear the song of a Redstart. He was at the top of the same pine tree, at the same time of day but a day earlier than last year when it may have been the first of that year recorded in Ceredigion. Not so this year but nevertheless an utterly magical few minutes which set the tone of the rest of the day for me (despite knowing that later, the White Stork had flown over the County and over the Dyfi Osprey nest and on, up the valley gathering height all the time).
