I'm sure The Breakwater Hide gets further and further from the car park each time I go there, but today it was worth the effort. When I reached the hide I did my good deed for the day, releasing a Pied Wagtail that had managed to trap itself inside.
There were four or five Willow Warblers busy in the vegetation close by.
On the way back I heard two bursts of Cetti's song but unfortunately the bird didn't show.
