Ynys-hir

What a wonderful day, the sunshine this afternoon was incredible.
During our walk at Ynys-hir this morning my friend Peter and I were very lucky.  We heard then saw a Grasshopper Warbler which hung around in sight for probably about 10 minutes, it was close enough to qualify for my best and most prolonged sighting of this species ever.  Later we sat in the Ynys-Einion hide and saw the Cetti's Warbler that has been teasing me with its song  but refusing to show for a week or so.  Today it shouted at us from cover very close-by, then appeared and slowly made its way across the reeds in front of us.
We also had brief glimpses of Sedge Warbler, watched several Godcrest, (one of which raised his crest at us), and heard a Cuckoo which was not very far away.
