I was in sunny, warm Extremadura when this great batch of sightings was sent to me:
Had a trip to the coast today (25th) and saw the following -
Arctic Skua - on the Dyfi estuary just off Ynyslas car park on the water and sometimes flying about, where it was harassed by some of the 40 or so Sandwich Terns. At the point around 120 mixed flock of Dunlin & Ringed Plover. A Merlin followed shortly by a Peregrine over the estuary to Aberdovey.
Grasshopper Warbler at the Leri boatyard.
20+ White Wagtails with 30 + Wheatear (4+ Greenland) on the golfcourse.
Off the turn car park a Little Tern, several Manxies, Gannets, 2 Kittiwake, Red Throated Diver and a Common Gull.
On fields near Glandwr 80 Whimbrel with 7 Bar tailed Godwits. 2 Sedge Warblers, a few Sand Martin and 2 Teal.
A nice day out!
