Llanrhystud and Llanon

The annual influx of Med Gulls to this stretch of coast has started in late June in recent years but I couldn't find any this morning.  A very few Herring Gulls at Llanrhystud and a nice little selection of small birds in the flooded field comprised a male Wheatear, two Linnets, a Skylark and a family party of two adult and three juvenile Pied Wagtails.
At Llanon, a few Manx Shearwaters, at least 12 Gannets and three Kittiwakes mostly well offshore, and four adult Black-headed Gulls flew south along the coast.
