Pied wagtails of mixed ages are starting to gather on a recently rolled field by
the Llanio junction just outside Llanddewi Brefi, this afternoon one of the
immature birds attempted to catch a small dragonfly probably a Common darter(
there were a few over Pant pond) while its not unusual to see wagtails fly
catching I think the little chap tried to bite off more than he could
chew.
