Last Tuesday (18th) I heard a Cettis Warbler singing on the western edge of
Borth Bog, about 400 yards south of Glandwr pools, today I heard one again, in
willow scrub to the north east of Glandwr pools. I'm not sure why it was
singing at this time of year, but they seem to be making themselves at home.
Today there were about 70 Lapwings in roadside
field just east of the railway crossing near Ynyslas.
