YNYSLAS SNOW BUNTINGS

The four snow buntings were present again this morning (25th) around 8.30am close to the point on the seaward side (where the dead pilot whale was).  They were feeding (not sure on what) along with 2 pied wagtails and a rock pipit.  They then flew to the very tip of Ynyslas Point.
Couple of stonechat also feeding in the strandline and five reed bunting in the dunes.  Out to sea were 20+ gannet, c. 5 red-throated diver, with one very close in and one group of common scoter (15).  Groups of wigeon were on the Dyfi close by, but it was too cold and windy to go through them in any systematic way to look for the reported American wigeon*.
