Lovely walk today
in glorious weather from Borth Animalarium along the Leri to the railway line,
left to the beach and back along the sands to Borth.
No harriers seen which was
the main reason for going but did see robin, skylark, reed bunting, stonechat,
blackbird, starling, magpie, carrion crow, raven, teal, redshank, sanderling,
ringed plover, curlew, oystercatcher, little egret, Canada goose, wigeon,
herring gull, great black backed gull, kingfisher, kestrel, rock pipit and red
kite. It's a long walk (6-7 miles) but worth it for the diverse habitat and the
views are stunning.
