Whilst surveying the College rocks this afternoon looking for Purple Sandpipers of which saw only two, a flock of Turnstone (I estimated about 30 - I see that Roy had counted 29 just after high tide this morning) - flew in from the sea, to the shelter of the Prom wall. They then stared bathing in a pool left by the receding tide, a quick shake off then flew back out to continue their foraging on the more recently exposed rocks.
A bit of a shaky video - taken holding the camera at arms length out over the railings!
