Aberystwyth, Cwm Rheidol and the Cletwr

The Glaucous Gull was in the college rocks roost again this evening, what a massive bird that is. Also in the roost was a ringed adult Common Gull with green right leg (began with J, but impossible to read the rest) and metal left leg. The 3H47 adult Med Gull was also there, I believe this is a bird that has been a regular to Aber for many years now. Also the Black Redstart was still on the old college.
A trip to the cwm rheidol reservoir yesterday produced a very pale Buzzard, 15 Teal, a Tufted Duck, a male Goosander, and a Cormorant.

3 Shoveler, a Hen Harrier and 3 Bar-tailed Godwits were around the Clettwr.

The Med Gull White 3H47 was ringed as a chick near Antwerp, Belgium on 10th June 2006 and has been seen at Aberystwyth several times since. as Edward says.
