Spent the day going through every gull flock I could find between New Quay and Llanrhystud looking for 'white-winged' gulls and drew a complete blank. The day's highlight was a 'white-winger' though, just a bit smaller than I'd anticipated - a cracking male Snow Bunting just to the south of Llanrhystud feeding along the top of the beach. Some good numbers of waders along here too, including 115 Curlew, 240 Golden Plover, 12 Grey Plover, 37 Turnstone, 22 Oystercatcher and 11 Redshank plus a handful of Dunlin and Ringed Plover.
