Castle Point and Tanybwlch

I reckon if I hadn't stopped for a birdless seawatch from Castle Point this morning, after counting eight Purple Sandpipers and 28 Turnstones, I might have beaten John to the first Wheatear.
As it happens, I had no sooner pulled in to the car park at Tanybwlch when John's text arrived "two Wheatears at Tanybwlch".
He was good enough to hang on at the far end of the bay until I arrived, and we both enjoyed good views of a fine male, plus the two Peregrines on the walk back.
On the Ystwyth was a pair of Goosanders (two pairs in the same spot on Thursday).
