Aberystwyth Canada Goose

This pair of Canada Geese were spotted alongside the Mute Swan family yesterday (16.9.17) in the harbour gap. One was ringed with a silver ring no. 52686.
I’m assuming this is the same goose that has been seen with the swans on a regular basis, until it vanished a few months ago. Confirmation of this would be great.

Claire Stott

I have no idea if Claire's ringed Canada Goose is the one which associated with the Mute Swans for so long, or even if it was ringed.
If anyone has any information, I will put it on the blog.
As for Chiffchaffs singing in September, I too have heard this on occasion.  Can't think of any other migrant warbler which sings in autumn.
