The female king eider was at Ynyslas again this morning, a new species for me on a WeBS count. From the pill box there were 825 oystercatcher, 24 bar-tailed godwit, a few whimbrel, 23 knot and a greenshank.
At the point the dog walkers must have got there first as it was very quiet with only a few dunlin and ringed plover.,
