Late morning I could only find 2 Little Stints (one of them was roosting on the shingle ridge when I arrived and I almost stood on it!) but they'd been joined on the wet field by a Curlew Sandpiper. 5 of the 8 accompanying Dunlin were sporting Tony's orange and yellow colour rings, and I noticed that both the stints had BTO rings [I gather from Arfon that all 3 have]. The curlew sand seemed to have avoided Tony so far!
5 Wheatears, and a smart Chough flew past along the beach at eye level.
