POSSIBLE CATTLE EGRETS (see earlier posting)

At 17:30, viewed from in front of The Moorings, there were 2 egrets up at the top of the field among the cows, 4 in the trees between the field and the river, and 8 along the water's edge. All of them were Little Egrets.
Little Egrets feeding in this field is not unusual, but this is the first time in 5 years I've seen cows there, its normally used as sheep pasture.
