Tanybwlch etc.

Yesterday we took advantage of the sun and headed West. Young Buzzard just beyond Devil's Bridge would not stop mewing: we could see his tonsils! Presumably parents hadn't fed him for 5 minutes. Tanybwlch devoid of birds save 2 Stonechats (shame the Sabine hadn't shifted north a bit!!!) , and 15 Turnstones doing what their name says by the pier as per in Aber. It's fascinating watching them at work : they can shift remarkably large stones to get at the insects beneath and you can hear the clicking as they turn them over,

from quite a distance.
