Aberarth to Llanrhystud, Sunday

Walked the coast today at Aberarth, Llanon, Llansantffraed and Llanrhystud. Plenty of raptors about, especially kites riding the incoming north westerly along the cliff tops. Also got some good views of kestrel and my favourite, the peregrine at Graig Ddu. It's great to watch peregrines mob buzzards; the buzzards are so slow and cumbersome in comparison, I am sure the peregrines do to just for fun! Species seen: Red kite, buzzard, peregrine, kestrel, raven, carrion crow, heron, curlew, oystercatcher, great black backed gull, Med gull, black headed gull, herring gull, pheasant, cormorant, starling, redwing, turnstone, magpie, blackbird, blue tit, rock pipit, wren, robin, stonechat, skylark, house sparrow.
