Ynyslas yesterday

The king eider was still present at Ynyslas yesterday. Also 13 brent geese on sand flats in the middle of the estuary and a few chiffchaff and goldcrests in the willows. Rather quiet from the brick house though a distant skua heading strongly south looked a good bet for a pomarine (bulky heavy flight etc.) but the distance was too great to confirm.
