Greenland White-fronted Goose at Llanon
A female Blackcap in the garden was a nice surprise this morning. A walk after lunch produced a much bigger surprise when I saw a lone Greenland White-fronted Goose in a stubble field to the south of Llanon (the third field from the car park). I also enjoyed nice views of a Peregrine and a Raven further south at Black Rocks and, as I arrived home, I had a brief view of a Sparrowhawk in hot pursuit of a small bird before they disappeared over a nearby rooftop. A very pleasant couple of hours of bird watching.
