flocks and songs

100 Lapwings at Capel Dewi, LLandysul today. On my way home from work just now I saw two flocks of Starlings several hundred strong heading in direction of the big roost near Talgarreg. These were near Lampeter, giving a sense of the wide radius that the roost draws birds in from (other sightings from Rhydlewis, Penrhiwllan, Horeb etc). A Song Thrush was in full song at 5am at the delivery office in Horeb.
