This morning it was again standing in the sunshine on rocks beside the barn in the field with a few cattle near the boatyard. Eventually it walked about picking up masses of food. A Little Egret joined it briefly.
The nearby Golden Plovers were more difficult to count today but the size of flock was of a similar magnitude to Wednesday's count of 1250. Later from the Clettwr I watched a Hen Harrier quartering back and forth low over the adjacent grazing marsh.
