Decent numbers of birds making
use of the flooded fields at Tanybwlch this afternoon. I counted 64
oystercatchers, 23 curlew, and the most common gulls I could muster before
either they moved or the wind threatened to tip my scope was 78, although I
missed a sizeable chunk of the them each time. I suspect they numbered well over
100. About the busiest I've seen those fields.
