WOODCOCK in the HARBOUR at ABERYSTWYTH

We had a good view of a Woodcock early this morning. It settled twice before heading towards Pen Dinas. A few Lapwings were at the water's edge and Song Thrushes have been in evidence. Rock Pipits have been finding the meal worms I have put out for them and hopefully the pair of Stonechats which are always about.
An amazing sight at high tide was the spray from the sea being blown up to the top of Allt-wen at the far side of Tanybwlch beach.
