Ynys-hir

Can't compete with Kentish Plover, but I enjoyed the high tide from the Ynys Feurig hide, where I was joined by Roy Kinchin. 
Apart from the usual waders we also got five Whimbrel, four Black-tailed and one Bar-tailed Godwit, Dunlin and Common Sandpiper.  A Sandwich Tern flew upriver and several Grasshopper Warblers sang unseen.
Later I got my first Pied Flycatchers of the year.
