Aberystwyth and the Dyfi

These two Wheatears were on the rocks at Castle Point this morning, along with a Common Sandpiper.  Not much out at sea, just a few Kittiwakes, Gannet, Manxie and Sandwich Tern.
Tide well out at Ynyslas, and just ca150 Dunlin/ Ringed Plover there.
Next to Glandwr where another three Wheatears, eight Whimbrel and a Ringed Plover.  Bob and Jacqui then turned up and we enjoyed our first Reed Warbler.
Bob and I then had a birdless diversion to the Clettwr before ending up walking to Dyfi Junction station.  Highlights, an Osprey flying around clutching a fish before settling on a post and filleting it and a flock of 18 Whimbrel on the saltings on the way back.
