Several feeding rafts of Manx Shearwaters, around 1400 in total, were off Aberystwyth this morning and around 25 Gannets went north.
Plenty of manxies Borth - Ynyslas but they were well scattered. Three Curlews which flew in off the sea near Borth coastguards were a surprise.
Very quiet at Ynyslas, but a few Sand Martins were feeding and resting on the beach: they sometimes gather there in large numbers in July.
